Ø Keep current with
observations and feedback
Ø Lead PD and teacher
development at your site supported by Home Office staff
Ø Be adequately prepared and organized to engage in on-going progress discussions (with complete and accurate documentation) on where each teacher is in his/her development while making sure that this is consistently and clearly communicated to each and every teacher
Ø Be clear with classified
staff about what the EFC standard is and support them and give them on-going
feedback so they reach and maintain it
Ø Set and reinforce an
appropriate high standard of behavior for all students... i.e. make it
clear that all rules will be followed; make it clear that at EFC adults do not
make requests multiple times to achieve compliance; adults do not try to talk
over children’s voices
Ø Hold on-going planning
meetings with appropriate staff members to ensure good communication, smooth
operations and a high degree of efficiency
Ø Maintain the same standard
for EFC students that you do for your own children/relatives
Ø Come to the table focused on how we can make this happen
